4月4日晚，哈爾濱工業大學交通科學與工程學院發布訃告：中國共產黨黨員、交通工程領域專家、哈爾濱工業大學教授劉景星同志，于2026年4月4日13時20分在哈爾濱因病逝世，享年87歲。訃告介紹，作為我國交通工程領域的知名學者和哈爾濱工業大學交通工程學科創始人之一，劉景星長期致力于交通規劃、道路設計等方面的工程實踐和科學研究工作。
