崗位設置

PI崗位包括資深研究員（Senior PI, full professor level）、長聘研究員（PI, tenured associate professor level）、特聘研究員（Junior PI, assistant professor level）。

PI的職責包括獨立領導課題組開展創新性科學研究工作、申請各項科學研究項目和基金、從事教學指導工作等。Senior PI還將對Junior PI負有指導職責。

資深研究員（Senior PI, Tenured Full Professor Level）基本條件為：

1）原則上曾擔任海內外知名高?；蚩蒲袡C構的長聘正教授或相當職位；

2）取得系統性、創造性學術成就，做出重要學術貢獻，享有較高的國際知名度和影響力，能夠引領學科領域的發展或趕超國際先進水平；

3）具有豐富教學經驗、培養青年科研人員經驗。

長聘研究員（Tenured PI, Tenured Associate Professor Level）基本條件為：

1）原則上曾擔任海內外知名高校或科研機構的長聘副教授或相當職位；

2）創新研究能力在學科領域內處于領先地位，具有成為學科領域領軍人物的潛力，有一定的國際知名度；

3）具有豐富教學經驗。

特聘研究員（Junior PI, Tenure-track Assistant Professor Level）基本條件為：

1）具有博士學位和博士后研究經歷；

2）學術水平達到海外內知名高校/科研機構助理教授或相當崗位的標準；

3）創新研究能力得到學科領域內專家的認可，有獨立發展的能力和獲得長聘崗位的潛力。

支持條件

（1）薪酬待遇：提供具有國際競爭力的薪酬待遇。

（2）啟動經費：根據科研實際需要，提供充足的啟動經費。

（3）科研條件：提供獨立的辦公空間、先進的實驗空間和尖端的公共技術平臺（Core Facility）。

（4）事業發展：實行課題組長（PI）負責制；擁有完善的晉升通道；定期給予發展評估與指導；且提供人才集聚、學科交叉、前沿探索、開放協作的學術環境。

（5）團隊組建：設有專項博士生培養項目和優秀博士后資助項目，支持自主組建包括博士研究生、博士后及專職研究人員在內的學術團隊。

（6）科研無憂：提供三大專業支撐——行政助理保障課題組日常高效運轉；專項團隊協助申報各級各類科研項目和獎勵；專業團隊和自有孵化平臺，助力科研成果轉移轉化。

（7）住房保障：提供搬遷費、租房補貼，可申請人才周轉房。

（8）外籍服務：協助外籍員工辦理工作許可、辦理居留許可、申請個稅優惠；

（9） 其它福利待遇：高標準繳納五險一金；提供補充醫療保險、年度健康體檢、帶薪年假、工會福利；協助辦理戶籍檔案接收與子女入學入托等。

Open PI Positions at SZBL

Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL) hereby announces an open and ongoing call for applications for full-time, independent Principal Investigator (PI) positions from distinguished researchers engaged in frontier biomedical science. Key disciplinary priorities include but are not limited to:Translational Cancer Research and Tumor Immunotherapy, Neurological Disorders, Infectious Diseases, Molecular Biology and Physiology, AI and Computational Biology, and Chemical Biology.

This recruitment initiative operates on a rolling basis.We warmly welcome talented researchers at all career stages to join us in co-creating the future. We also extend our sincere gratitude to colleagues and partners who have consistently supported SZBL.

Positions and Qualifications

We seek applicants with a national or international reputation for high-quality independent research, evidenced by original and influential intellectual contributions. The ideal candidate will actively engage in teaching and supervising students, postdoctoral fellow, and research staff. PIs are expected to lead an extramurally funded research program that complements and synergizes with SZBL’s strategic scope, backed by generous start-up support. Senior PIs will additionally mentor junior faculty.

The following PI positions are available at SZBL:

1.Senior PI (Tenured Full Professor Level)

? Hold, or have held, a tenured full professor appointment (or an equivalent senior research position) at a recognized university or research institution, either domestically or internationally.

? Demonstrate a record of systematic and innovative academic achievements with significant contributions to the field.

? Possess a strong international reputation and scholarly influence.

? Have a proven track record of excellence in teaching at the graduate level and in effectively mentoring early-career researchers.

2.Tenured PI (Tenured Associate Professor Level)

? Hold, or have held, a tenured associate professor appointment (or an equivalent research position) at a recognized university or research institution, either domestically or internationally.

? Demonstrate innovative research capability and show potential to become future leader in the field.

? Possess experience in teaching and mentoring.

3.Junior PI (Tenure-track Assistant Professor Level)

? Hold a doctoral degree and have completed postdoctoral research training.

? Demonstrate academic qualifications that meet the standard for an assistant professor position (or an equivalent independent research role) at a recognized university or research institution, either domestically or internationally.

? Possess innovative research capability, with clear evidence of potential to establish an independent research program.

Supporting Conditions

Qualified candidates will receive an internationally competitive salary, ample start-up funds, excellent office and modern lab. State-of-the-art core facilities, translational platforms, and interdisciplinary academic environment are also available at SZBL. Assistance will be provided in applying for various scientific projects, funding and awards. Other benefits include insurance and housing fund, supplementary medical insurance, annual physical examination, paid annual leave, and childrens education. For international staff, we also help them to apply for work permit, residence permit and foreign tax preference.
