1. How long did it take for you to

travel here?

從你的國家到深圳需要多長時間？

@白湘琴 Anna Babich：

I go from Belarus to Moscow in Russia, and then I go from Russia to Shenzhen. So it’s like 24 hours.

我先從白俄羅斯飛往俄羅斯莫斯科，然后我從俄羅斯去深圳，一共大概24小時。

In fact, we need to transfer from Barbados to the UK or the US. It will take about eight hours. Then go to China from there. It should take about 11 or 12 hours.

I choose this university because I want to improve my Chinese language, and to learn more about Chinese culture. And of course, it's the best university in the whole world.

Shenzhen is a city of advancements and technology, and the field that I'm trying to pursue in is going to be very involved in technology and also healthcare, and I believe this is the best stepping stone to do so, especially in China.

深圳是一座科技發達的城市。我想要從事的領域會涉及到科技和醫療健康，我相信這里是最好的鋪路石，尤其是在中國。

3. What’s your first impression of

Tsinghua SIGS?

My first impression of this school was, since I came from Beijing, I already had amazing expectations of Tsinghua and when I got here. I was not disappointed. Especially when I saw the new buildings, and how everything is set up. I was like very very impressed.

我對這所學校的第一印象非常深刻，因為我從北京來，已經對清華有了非常強烈的期待，當我來到這里的時候，果然沒有失望，尤其是嶄新的建筑和精心的校園布置，都給我留下了非常深刻的印象。

It's a big town consisting of many universities. We have Peking, Tsinghua, and also Harbin Institute of Technology here. So I'm very interested to see how many people I can bump into, how many different schools and majors, and how we can all help each other out.

這里是一個由多家院校組成的大學城，有北大、清華，還有哈爾濱工業大學。所以我很想看看我能遇到多少人，有多少不同的學院和專業，以及我們如何互相幫助。

Once I got to Tsinghua, I mentioned that the people here are so welcoming. They treated me very well and it's something really impressive. I like it here and I like the environment.

4.What are your expectations for your

life at SIGS?

香港科技大學教授

I'm currently a professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. So since he's studying in this field, I'm expecting him to learn the frontier research, and makes lots and lots of new findings for the Greater Bay Area.

我是一名香港科技大學的教授。我的孩子正在醫療領域學習，我期待他掌握前沿研究，并產出很多新成果，為粵港澳大灣區作出貢獻。

@陳浩然 Soren：

香港特別行政區

生物醫學工程專業碩士生

I hope to do more research, learn something new every day, and hope to contribute in the medical field where maybe some diseases that are unknown or that are needed and help in research.

我希望做更多的研究，每天學習新的知識，對醫療領域有所貢獻，或許是針對某些未知的、或急需解決的疾病，助力相關研究。
