美國(guó)司法部19日開(kāi)始在其網(wǎng)站公布已故富商杰弗里·愛(ài)潑斯坦相關(guān)案件的文件。司法部官員當(dāng)天早些時(shí)候表示，此次將公開(kāi)數(shù)十萬(wàn)份相關(guān)記錄，并在接下來(lái)幾周繼續(xù)公開(kāi)更多內(nèi)容。
The US Department of Justice on Friday released a trove of records from the files related to late financier Jeffrey Epstein, roughly a month after the US Congress approved a bill requiring their release by Dec 19, with only narrow exceptions.

報(bào)道指出，美國(guó)司法部表示，已“盡一切合理努力”對(duì)受害者的個(gè)人信息進(jìn)行編輯，但警告稱(chēng)，部分信息可能會(huì)無(wú)意中泄露。

US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said earlier in the day that the release would include "several hundred thousand" records, and more would be disclosed in the coming weeks.
11月18日，美國(guó)國(guó)會(huì)眾議院、參議院先后通過(guò)一項(xiàng)法案，要求司法部在12月19日前公開(kāi)愛(ài)潑斯坦案相關(guān)文件。美國(guó)總統(tǒng)特朗普11月19日簽署了這一法案。
The latest action came roughly one month after the US House of Representatives passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act with nearly unanimous approval, followed by unanimous approval in the Senate.
