如今,光熱納米材料的發(fā)展已不再僅僅是為了產(chǎn)生熱量;其目的是實現(xiàn)精確的熱管理、能量級聯(lián),以及光熱轉(zhuǎn)換與其他物理和化學(xué)過程的整合,以應(yīng)對水資源、能源和環(huán)境領(lǐng)域的全球性挑戰(zhàn)。本期特刊旨在探討先進(jìn)光熱材料如何推動高效相變、催化化學(xué)反應(yīng)以及管理熱能儲存。該特刊的一個關(guān)鍵關(guān)注點是突出提高太陽能利用效率的新機(jī)制——特別是通過太陽界面蒸發(fā)實現(xiàn)清潔水生產(chǎn),并與其他能量收集技術(shù)協(xié)同工作。我們希望聚集能夠突破熱力學(xué)極限和材料穩(wěn)定性界限的高質(zhì)量成果。我們特別邀請原創(chuàng)研究論文和綜合綜述文章,它們不僅限于報告標(biāo)準(zhǔn)效率,還能深入洞察決定高性能光熱系統(tǒng)的熱動力學(xué)和材料相互作用。

Today, the development of photothermal nanomaterialsis no longer solely for heat generation; it is to achieveprecise thermal management, energy cascading, andthe integration of photothermal conversion with otherphysical and chemical processes to address criticalglobal challenges in water, energy, and the environment.This Special Issue aims to explore how advancedphotothermal materials can drive efficient phasetransitions, catalyze chemical reactions, and managethermal energy storage. A key focus of this issue ishighlighting novel mechanisms for enhancing solarenergy utilization efficiency—specifically through solarinterfacial evaporation for clean water production and itssynergy with other energy-harvesting technologies. Weseek to gather high-quality contributions that push theboundaries of thermodynamic limits and materialstability. We specifically invite original research articlesand comprehensive reviews that move beyond standardefficiency reporting to offer deep insights into thethermal dynamics and material interactions governinghigh-performance photothermal systems.
