中國音樂家在美國被撞身亡，年僅35歲

據揚子晚報，美國巴德學院的中國音樂指揮李梳曈近日在路邊換輪胎時，被一輛超速行駛的汽車撞倒，在醫院經搶救無效去世。李梳曈的家人近日為其舉辦了告別儀式。

A 35-year-old conducting teacher at Bard College was killed on Feb 11 after exiting his broken-down car on the Taconic State Parkway, according to a statement from the New York State Police.

Li Shutong was struck by a passing truck while outside of his vehicle, which was "partially parked on the shoulder" in Clinton at mile marker 59, the police said.

He was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital with serious injuries and later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Li was changing a flat tire on his way home from a rehearsal, according to Slipped Disc, a classical music news website.

Bard president Leon Botstein said: "Shutong was an essential member of the Conservatory; a wonderful musician, a dedicated teacher, a loving husband and father, and a good friend. …Through his musicianship, enormous energy, and unflagging dedication, Shutong transformed the Chinese Ensemble and raised its profile in our community."

李梳曈1990年出生于內蒙古鄂爾多斯市，早年主修工程專業，但自幼熱愛音樂。畢業后，他轉向音樂領域發展，并于2013年到美國新墨西哥大學深造，獲得音樂學士學位。

2019年，他進入巴德學院音樂學院攻讀指揮專業研究生課程。該學院被認為是美國頂尖音樂學府之一。2021年畢業后，他隨即受聘于巴德學院美中音樂學院，擔任助理指揮，負責巴德民族室內樂團的指揮，并在一年后升任音樂總監。該樂團以融合中西樂器演繹中國音樂而廣受關注。

According to the Bard College website, Li Shutong was born in 1990 in Ordos in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. He initially studied engineering but had a lifelong passion for music. After graduation, he shifted his focus to music and went to the University of New Mexico in the United States in 2013, where he earned a bachelor's degree in music.

In 2019, he enrolled in the graduate program in conducting at the Bard College Conservatory of Music, one of the top music conservatories in the United States. After graduating in 2021, he was immediately hired by the Bard College US-China Music Institute as an assistant conductor, responsible for directing the Bard Chinese Ensemble. A year later, he was promoted to music director.

The ensemble is renowned for blending Chinese and Western instruments to perform Chinese music.

李梳曈還創立了“音樂家為音樂家”樂團，并曾擔任阿爾伯克基交響樂團及新墨西哥大學健康科學中心樂團的首席指揮。

在美國音樂界看來，他是推動中美音樂交流的重要青年代表人物。憑借卓越的音樂才華、充沛的藝術熱情和持續投入的努力，他顯著提升了巴德民族室內樂團的影響力與藝術水準，為促進中美音樂文化的深入交流作出了積極貢獻。
