當地時間3月5日晚，伊朗最高級別的軍事指揮中心“哈塔姆·安比亞中央司令部”發言人表示，美軍“亞伯拉罕·林肯”號航空母艦在接近伊朗水域邊界外340公里的阿曼海時“被伊朗伊斯蘭革命衛隊海軍無人機擊中”，航母連同其驅逐艦迅速撤離，迄今已遠離該區域超過一千公里。
