王毅：中美高層交往議程已擺在我們的桌面上

3月8日，十四屆全國人大四次會議新聞中心舉行記者會，邀請中共中央政治局委員、外交部長王毅就“中國外交政策和對外關系”相關問題回答中外記者提問。

王毅說，中美都是大國，都改變不了彼此，但可以改變相處方式，那就是秉持相互尊重的態(tài)度，守住和平共處的底線，爭取合作共贏的前景，這才符合兩國人民的利益，也符合國際社會的期待。

Wang said that neither China nor the United States can remodel the other, but we can choose how we want to engage. China and the United States should commit to a spirit of mutual respect, hold the bottom line of peaceful coexistence, and strive for the prospect of win-win cooperation.

王毅說，兩國元首身體力行，在最高層次上保持了良好交往，為中美關系的改善發(fā)展提供了重要戰(zhàn)略保障，也推動中美關系經(jīng)歷跌宕起伏實現(xiàn)了總體穩(wěn)定。

The presidents of the two countries have provided important strategic safeguard for the China-US relationship to improve and move forward, and they have brought the relationship back on an even keel after the ups and downs, Wang said.

今年是中美關系的“大年”，高層交往的議程已經(jīng)擺在我們的桌面上。現(xiàn)在需要做的是，雙方為此做出周密的準備，營造適宜的環(huán)境，管控存在的分歧，排除不必要的干擾。
