睡眠是起居養生的重中之重,是身體修復機能、補充精力的核心環節,老年人不必刻意追求和年輕人一樣的睡眠時長,但一定要保證睡眠質量、遵循固定的作息規律,養成“定時睡、準時起”的好習慣。建議老年人每晚21點半至22點之間準備入睡,清晨6點半至7點左右起床,既不熬夜透支氣血、損傷肝腎,也不賴床耗傷陽氣、影響氣血運行。睡前要做好放松準備,營造舒適的睡眠環境,遠離手機、電視等電子產品的強光刺激,別胡思亂想、糾結煩心事,可以用40℃左右的溫水泡腳15-20分鐘,配合按摩足底穴位,或是聽聽舒緩的輕音樂、誦讀幾句靜心文字,讓身心徹底放松下來,有效提高深度睡眠時長,改善失眠、多夢、易醒等問題。

中午小憩也是起居養生的關鍵,老年人精力有限,上午活動后容易疲勞,午休20-30分鐘為宜,既能快速緩解身體疲勞,為下午的活動蓄力,也能保護心腦血管、調節情緒;切忌午睡過久,超過1小時不僅會讓人昏昏沉沉,還會打亂夜間睡眠節奏,形成惡性循環。
日常活動也要順應身體節律,做到動靜相宜、勞逸結合,切忌兩個極端。一方面,老年人切忌過度勞累,無論是做家務、帶孫輩、外出游玩,還是參與社區活動,都要量力而行,把握好力度和時長,累了就及時坐下或躺下休息,避免強撐著透支身體,過度勞累會耗傷氣血、損傷筋骨,加重身體負擔;另一方面,也不能久臥久坐、長期不動,很多老人退休后整日躺著看電視、坐著打牌,長期缺乏活動會導致氣血不暢、肌肉萎縮、血液循環變慢,不僅會讓人渾身乏力、精神不振,還會增加血栓、便秘、關節僵硬的風險,加速身體衰老。
