上述消息顯示，王慧忠已任長子縣代縣長。
此前，長治市委研究擬任職干部公示：王慧忠，1976年9月生，大學，中共黨員，長子縣委副書記、統戰部部長，鮑店鎮黨委書記，擬提名為縣長候選人。
