1月22日，外交部發言人郭嘉昆主持例行記者會。有記者就中國與敘利亞關系相關問題提問。
對此，郭嘉昆表示，“東伊運”是中國依法認定、聯合國安理會列明的恐怖組織。敘利亞承諾不會允許任何實體利用敘利亞領土從事損害中國安全主權和利益的活動。
