喜訊！廣東以色列理工學院獲批博士學位授予立項建設單位

近日，廣東省學位委員會印發《關于調整廣東省博士碩士學位授予立項建設單位的通知》，廣東以色列理工學院成功獲批博士學位授予立項建設單位。這是繼去年獲批碩士學位授予立項建設單位后，學校在提升辦學層次上取得的又一重大突破。

本次增補名單是依據國務院學位委員會印發的《新增博士碩士學位授權審核申請基本條件》，綜合各單位學科建設隊伍、科學研究能力與貢獻及科研平臺建設成效與亮點等情況研究決定。

一年之內連獲兩項重要資質，廣以用實力跑出了高等教育發展的“加速度”。立足國際化創新人才培養模式，緊密對接國家重大戰略和區域發展需求，學校正加速構建本碩博一體化的辦學格局，朝著高水平、國際化理工科研究型大學的目標全力邁進。

作為一所年輕高校，廣以在上述參評領域持續交出亮眼答卷，為此次入選提供了有力支撐。

在由諾獎得主、中國科學院院士領銜的師資陣容中，廣以外籍教師占比超80%，生師比約10:1，“全球前2%頂尖科學家榜單”入選人數連年攀升。截至2025年末，學校已有近1700篇論文發表在國際期刊上，約80%被SCIE/EI等收錄，近15%登上IF>10的頂尖期刊；累計獲批科研項目超260項。日益堅實的學科建設隊伍與科研能力，為高層次人才培養注入強勁動能。

此外，廣以持續深耕南澳科學會議，雙清-南澳青年科學論壇等高水平對話平臺，接連主辦聚焦AI材料、生物技術、環境可持續發展等前沿領域國際會議，學術輻射力穩步提升。

以此次獲批為新起點，廣以將乘勢而上，持續優化學科布局，強化師資隊伍建設，深化國際交流合作，奮力推動學校辦學實力邁上新臺階，為廣東乃至全國高質量發展貢獻更多創新力量。

Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Academic Degrees Committee issued the "Notice on Adjusting the Institutions Authorized to Grant Doctoral and Master's Degrees in Guangdong Province" , announcing that Guangdong Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT) has been successfully approved as the Project Construction Unit for Granting Doctoral Degree. This marks another milestone in GTIIT's efforts to elevate its academic level, following its approval as the Project Construction Unit for Granting Master's Degree last year.

The newly added units were selected based on the basic conditions listed in a document issued by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, taking into consideration factors disciplinary development teams, scientific research capabilities and contributions, and the effectiveness and highlights of research platform construction.

Securing two significant qualifications within just one year, GTIIT has demonstrated an "accelerated development" in higher education. Leveraging its international innovation talent model and aligning with national and regional needs, GTIIT is accelerating its integrated undergraduate-master's-doctoral system toward becoming a high-level, international research university.

As a young university, GTIIT has consistently delivered outstanding results in the above-mentioned evaluation areas, providing strong support for this selection.

Under the leadership of a faculty team that includes Nobel laureates and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, international faculty account for over 80%, with a student-to-faculty ratio of approximately 10:1, and the number of scholars listed in the World's Top 2% Scientists keeps rising yearly. By the end of 2025, GTIIT had published nearly 1,700 papers in international journals, with about 80% indexed in SCIE/EI and nearly 15% featured in top-tier journals with an IF greater than 10. It has also secured over 260 research projects. The increasingly robust disciplinary teams and research foundation inject strong momentum into high-level talent cultivation.

Furthermore, GTIIT has been actively engaging with high-level dialogue platforms such as Nan'ao Science Conference and Shuangqing-Nan'ao Youth Science Forum, and has successively hosted academic conferences on cutting-edge fields like AI materials, biotechnology, and environmental sustainability. These efforts have led to notable progress in a steady rise in its academic influence.

Building on this approval, GTIIT will further optimize its disciplinary layout, strengthen its faculty, and deepen international cooperation, striving to enhance its academic standing and drive high-quality development in Guangdong and beyond.
