徐薇是一位活躍在當代藝術領域的策展人及藝術寫作者，現工作居住于上海。她與傳統藝術評論者不同，擅長從社會現實與心理角度分析藝術本質，幫助大眾跨越藝術史與藝術哲學的障礙，建立當代藝術與大眾間的聯系。徐薇長期開展公眾藝術教育課程及講座，幫助更多人進入藝術本質，從藝術中獲取提升自我、改造現實的力量。

徐薇著有藝術評論專著《藝術的末法時代》，近期策劃展覽及藝術項目包括：光灰：沈忱的勞作（春美術館，上海，2023）；萬重山：汪一舟個展（春美術館，上海，2023）；第一次發問：何以抽象（木曦畫廊，上海，2023）；我在（Suns Living Gallery，北京，2023）；存在與重復（春美術館，上海，2022）等。

Xu Wei is an active curator and art writer in the field of contemporary art. She is also a director of IACAET China, the International Association for Creative Arts Education and Therapy. She currently works and lives in Shanghai. Different from traditional art critics, she is good at analyzing the nature of art from the perspective of social reality and psychology, helping the public to overcome the obstacles of art history and art philosophy, and establishing a connection between contemporary art and the public. Xu Wei has been conducting public art education courses and lectures for a long time to help more people enter the essence of art and gain the power to improve themselves and transform reality from art.

Xu Wei is the author of the art criticism monograph "The Nirvana of Art". Recent curated exhibitions and art projects include: Sprit Labor: Shen Chen's Art Work (Chun Art Museum, Shanghai, 2023); Ten Thousand Mountains: Wang Yizhou's Solo Exhibition (Chun Art Museum,Shanghai,2023); First Question: Why Abstraction (Muxi Gallery, Shanghai, 2023); I am Here (Suns Living Gallery, Beijing, 2023); Existence and Repetition (Chun Art Museum ,Shanghai, 2022), etc.
