與牛津大學深化合作！“牛津注冊訪問生項目”向寧諾學子伸出橄欖枝

“牛津大學的‘導師制’，是由牛津大學的研究員、教授甚至院士一對一或者一對二帶領學生，培養大家提出問題的能力，開創新的領域。”

11月5日晚，一場別開生面的宣講會在寧諾新教學樓舉行，來自英國牛津大學攝政學院的代表老師，正熱情洋溢地向寧諾本科生介紹“牛津展望計劃”。

根據寧諾與牛津大學攝政學院簽署的合作協議，“牛津展望計劃”特別面向寧諾優秀在校學生推出牛津大學注冊訪問生項目。

訪問生將與牛津大學正式學生享有同等權利，享受導師制（tutorial）和講座（lecture）的學習體驗，使用牛津大學的所有設施（圖書館、校內網系統等），并在學習結束后自動成為牛津大學接收學院的終身校友，持續享有牛津大學的學術資源和支持。

作為英語世界國家中最古老的大學，牛津大學在過去九年中蟬聯全球高校排行榜第一，擁有世界頂尖的學術資源，在眾多領域引領著世界最前沿的科學研究。此前，寧諾與牛津大學已有暑期交流項目的合作基礎，此次訪問生項目的啟動，標志著兩校在教育合作上形成了更深層次的戰略伙伴關系。

牛津大學注冊訪問生項目僅與國內十幾所頂尖高校建立了合作。學生申請成功后，就擁有了牛津大學學生的身份，未來申請牛津大學的研究生和博士生將變得更加容易。”

寧諾國際交流與合作辦公室高級主管宋曉琳補充道，寧諾還與世界許多名校開展了交流合作，并會定期邀請這些名校代表到寧諾與學生面對面，接下來還將推出包括美國加州大學伯克利分校在內的其他國際一流學府的交流項目。

她強調：“這些合作院校對我們學生的評價非常高，這次與牛津大學的深度合作就是基于他們對學生的高度認可。”

“這樣的機會很難得。”寧諾國際商務專業大一學生徐心怡表示，雖然入校才短短幾個月，但她已經感受到了寧諾國際化的環境和平臺帶來的“無限可能”，“希望未來能申請到交流項目，進一步提升自己的學術能力，開闊眼界。”

目前，寧諾已與加州大學伯克利分校、愛丁堡大學、華威大學、墨爾本大學、悉尼大學、不列顛哥倫比亞大學等來自世界40多個國家和地區的近160所院校建立了交流合作，助力學生打磨可遷移技能、發掘潛能。

本科在校生可通過2+2課程、交換留學項目、冬夏短學期項目、國際組織實習、國際志愿、科研工作坊、國際競賽或會議等形式去往世界各地進行交流學習，打造多元化的海外學習經歷，在全球化背景下成長。

UNNC forges deeper ties with Oxford through visiting students initiative

The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) has bolstered its partnership with the University of Oxford by implementing the One-year Registered Visiting Student Programme (VSP).

This programme enables qualified UNNC students to enroll as visiting students at Oxford, study on the same courses as full-time Oxford undergraduates, participating alongside them in tutorials and lectures. These visiting students also have access to all of Oxford University's academic and social facilities, and automatically become lifetime members of their host Oxford College, signifying the strengthened collaboration between the two institutions.

On 5 November, a representative from Regent's Park College, University of Oxford, visited UNNC to present to undergraduates about the Oxford Prospects Programmes and this One-year Registered Visiting Student Programme (VSP).

As the oldest university in the English-speaking world, the University of Oxford has consistently ranked first in global university rankings for nine consecutive years. It boasts world-class academic resources and leads in cutting-edge scientific research across various fields. The launch of the Registered VSP signifies a deeper strategic partnership in educational collaboration between the two institutions.

"The Registered VSP has established partnerships with only a select few top universities in China,” said Freya Song, Senior Manager of International Affairs at UNNC. “Once accepted, students gain the status of Oxford students, making it much easier for them to apply for master’s or doctoral programs at Oxford in the future,"

She also noted that UNNC engages in exchange and cooperation with many renowned universities worldwide, regularly inviting representatives from these institutions to campus. This includes an upcoming series of exchange programs with top international universities, such as the University of California, Berkeley.

"These partner institutions have a very high opinion of our students, and this deep collaboration with the University of Oxford is based on their strong recognition of our students," Freya emphasised.

Currently, UNNC has partnered with nearly 160 institutions across over 40 countries and regions, aiding students in developing transferable skills and exploring their potential. Undergraduates can participate in various programmes, including 2+2 courses, exchange programmes, international internships, volunteering, and research workshops, to gain international experience.
