小豬魷魚Helicocranchia pfefferi，英文名piglet squid，頭足綱Cephalopoda蛸亞綱Coleoidea開眼目Oegopsida小頭魷科Cranchiidae的物種，體長8~10厘米，分布于太平洋、大西洋100~2000米深的水層，以浮游生物為食。它們有大大的眼睛、圓滾滾的“肚子”，腕就像頭上的一圈毛發，肉鰭像螺旋槳。“豬鼻子”是它們的漏斗。它們靠漏斗噴射海水快速移動。
