大年初三，民間稱“赤口”，廣州舊俗忌串門、避口角，宜宅家納吉。廣州博物館藏紅緞地繡和合二仙女襖，紅緞映喜，二仙手持荷、盒，暗合“和合”祥瑞。二仙主婚姻美滿、摯友相得，恰是化解“赤口”戾氣的吉兆。新春睹仙容、著紅襖，祈愿家中少紛爭、多和睦，正所謂“家和萬事興”，和氣滿堂，福運自來。
