1.中央核球（Galactic Bulge）

• 位于銀河系的中心區(qū)域，是一個濃密的恒星球，直徑約為3,000光年。
• 核球中含有大量老年恒星和超大質(zhì)量黑洞（銀河系的中心有一個超大質(zhì)量黑洞，質(zhì)量約為400萬倍太陽質(zhì)量，名為“射手座A*”）。

2.銀河盤（Galactic Disk）

• 這是銀河系的主要部分，包含大部分恒星、行星、星云和星團(tuán)。
• 盤面直徑約10萬光年，厚度變化較大。
• 盤中有豐富的恒星形成區(qū)、星云（如獵戶座大星云）和旋渦臂。

3.旋渦臂（Spiral Arms）

• 銀河系具有明顯的旋渦結(jié)構(gòu)，主要的旋渦臂包括：佩爾塞烏斯臂（Perseus Arm）天鵝座-射手座臂（Cygnus-Scutum Arm）船底座臂（Carina-Sagittarius Arm）盾牌臂（Orion Arm）——我們的太陽系所在的旋渦臂。

4.暈（Halo）

• 包圍銀河盤的球狀區(qū)域，包含老年恒星、球狀星團(tuán)和暗物質(zhì)。

銀河系的運動

• 銀河系在銀河團(tuán)（Local Group）中以每秒約600公里的速度相對于其他星系運動。
• 銀河系和鄰近的仙女座星系（Andromeda）正逐漸接近，預(yù)計在幾十億年后會發(fā)生合并。

銀河系的演化
