嵩山少林寺原住持釋永信涉嫌挪用資金等案，經河南省公安廳指定新鄉市公安機關立案偵查，由新鄉市公安局提請新鄉市人民檢察院批準逮捕。日前，新鄉市人民檢察院依法以涉嫌職務侵占罪、挪用資金罪、非國家工作人員受賄罪對釋永信作出批準逮捕決定。
