再獲殊榮！寧波諾丁漢大學青年賦能項目獲聯(lián)合國大學認可

近日，寧波諾丁漢大學聯(lián)合國可持續(xù)發(fā)展教育（寧波）專業(yè)區(qū)域中心（簡稱“RCE寧波”）發(fā)起的“青年可持續(xù)行動賦能計劃”獲聯(lián)合國大學高度認可，被成功評為2025年旗艦項目（青年主導類別）。RCE寧波正式啟動不到一年，其發(fā)起的項目即獲國際認可，成為全球最快有項目獲此殊榮的聯(lián)合國可持續(xù)發(fā)展教育專業(yè)區(qū)域中心（簡稱“RCE”）之一，展現(xiàn)了其卓越的影響力。

“青年可持續(xù)行動賦能計劃”打造了一個貫穿“知識交流、情境體驗與實踐落地”的全周期賦能平臺。項目以“Let’S talk!”跨學科講座與論壇、可持續(xù)城市漫步、smart全球門店可持續(xù)運營設(shè)計大賽，以及暑期環(huán)境、社會與治理（ESG）研究項目等豐富實踐為載體，培養(yǎng)青年掌握可持續(xù)發(fā)展與ESG 實操技能，并將學術(shù)知識轉(zhuǎn)化為可落地的解決方案。

與此同時，項目促進青年、學界、產(chǎn)業(yè)與社區(qū)在可持續(xù)發(fā)展實踐中的深度協(xié)作，有效回應(yīng)寧波制造業(yè)綠色轉(zhuǎn)型以及可持續(xù)發(fā)展人才的實際需求。

此次國際認可進一步彰顯寧波諾丁漢大學在可持續(xù)發(fā)展領(lǐng)域的長期承諾。今年11月，學校正式發(fā)布《寧波諾丁漢大學戰(zhàn)略規(guī)劃：2030發(fā)展路線圖》，可持續(xù)發(fā)展被列為六大核心支柱之一。

寧諾可持續(xù)運營與技術(shù)管理首席教授、RCE寧波主任、負責任商業(yè)與創(chuàng)新中心主任戴菁教授介紹：“團隊將繼續(xù)深化并拓展該項目，不僅計劃開展更具創(chuàng)意和吸引力的活動，鼓勵更多力量參與其中，更努力推動形成真正可實施的政策建議。我們希望培養(yǎng)具備責任意識與行動力的新一代青年，讓他們能夠?qū)⑺鶎W知識轉(zhuǎn)化為切實改變，不僅造福家鄉(xiāng)，也為更廣泛的全球發(fā)展貢獻力量。”

RCE寧波由寧波諾丁漢大學牽頭成立，于2024年12月獲聯(lián)合國大學正式批準，成為中國第十個獲認證的RCE，并于2025年6月正式啟動。作為全球RCE網(wǎng)絡(luò)的一員，RCE寧波立足寧波、輻射長三角，致力于整合國際可持續(xù)發(fā)展教育經(jīng)驗與本地資源，打造兼具寧波特色與國際競爭力的可持續(xù)發(fā)展模式。

The "EmpowerChain: Youth Sustainability Accelerator" project, launched by the Regional Centre of Expertise Ningbo on Education for Sustainable Development (RCE Ningbo) established by the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, has been acknowledged as a 2025 Flagship Project (Youth-Led Category) by the United Nations University (UNU). This prestigious recognition is especially significant as it was awarded less than a year after RCE Ningbo's official launch, underscoring the centre's exceptional impact and making it one of the fastest RCEs globally to receive such an honour.

This international recognition comes at a pivotal moment, strongly validating UNNC's profound commitment to sustainability, a strategic cornerstone of its first independent five-year plan, the UNNC Strategic Plan: Roadmap to 2030. UNNC's Provost and Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Jon Garibaldi, stated: "We are leading in sustainable development by embedding the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) throughout our governance, operations, education, research, and partnerships."

Professor Jing Dai, Director of RCE Ningbo and Director of the Centre for Responsible Business and Innovation (CRBI) at UNNC, said: “we will expand our flagship initiatives to create a comprehensive pipeline for sustainability education and action - from innovative events and community engagement to impactful policy recommendations. This award reinforces our resolve to cultivate a new generation of sustainability leaders who can translate knowledge into meaningful change for our region and beyond."

The RCE, initiated and accredited by the United Nations University, promotes global sustainability through industry-academia collaboration and innovation. RCE Ningbo, the 10th UNU-accredited RCE in China, applied by the CRBI at UNNC, was officially acknowledged by United Nations University in December 2024, and was officially inaugurated in June 2025.
