教授介紹 Lecturer：

Dirk Buyens

Professor of Peking University-Vlerick MBA Programme

Dirk Buyens is the International Dean of Vlerick for the Beijing International MBA at Peking University. Meanwhile, he is the Full Professor, Partner and Director of Open Executive Education Programmes and the Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence for Strategic Talent Management at Vlerick Business School. He is also the Full Professor at Ghent University and CEO of Great Place to Work Institute Belgium. He obtained his PhD in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at Ghent University and holds an MBA degree from KU Leuven.

Dirk Buyens's main research and teaching interest lies in human resources management. In a career spanning more than 25 years, he has published more than 100 articles in well-established magazines and has written several books and chapters on organisational development, career management and all aspects of management.

He helps students, executives and companies to bring out the best in themselves and their organisations through cutting-edge approaches to people management, career self-management and personal mastery. Dirk has taught and advised organisations including the Ministry of the Flemish Community, Umicore, BASF, Oracle, BNP Paribas Fortis, KBC, Federal Government (FOD), Beneo and ASAP nv. He was also identified as one of the most influential academic HR thinkers by Belgian Business Weekly, Trends.
