3月5日，詹姆斯在新一期《Mind the game》節目中談到了自己季后賽期間十分專注于賽場，他會直接關掉手機，沒人可以聯系到他。
詹姆斯在節目中說：“還有人能比我更嚴格地要求自己嗎？在整個季后賽期間，我會直接關掉手機。如果我的家人們想聯系我，Randy Mims每天都在我身邊，Carter很多時候也在。可以直接給這倆人打電話。”
“如果真有緊急情況，他們會過來找我。如果在客場，他們會直接來敲我的房門，除此之外沒人能找到我。”
