3月8日凌晨，揚州居民潘女士駕車經過明月湖大橋附近時，一頭野豬突然橫穿馬路，她緊急采取制動措施避險，所幸未造成事故。9日，揚州市陸生野生動物救護中心回應稱，野豬活動范圍太大難以抓捕，呼吁市民遇到時切勿因好奇靠近。
