財聯社1月10日電，據CCTV國際時訊，盡管丹麥自治領地格陵蘭島和丹麥政府方面已多次明確表示“格陵蘭島不出售”，但據多名知情人士透露，美國政府內部正在討論向格陵蘭島居民發放一次性現金，以說服其脫離丹麥、并可能加入美國。據稱，這一方案是白宮正在評估的多種“獲取格陵蘭島”的路徑之一。對此，格陵蘭島居民表示，給多少錢也無法收買。
