伍爾芙說每個(gè)女性都應(yīng)該有一個(gè)完全屬于自己的房間,對(duì)黃敏而言,這間屬于自己的“一個(gè)人的房間”卻并不是孤立的。我們都知道黃敏主體繪畫偏重“現(xiàn)實(shí)主義”,她極度關(guān)注社會(huì),關(guān)懷邊緣人群的生存狀態(tài)。但同時(shí),她也從不忽略生活中的“美”,總想留住短暫的、轉(zhuǎn)瞬即逝的美,于是有了她一系列的“風(fēng)景”畫作。她把它們畫在紙板上、畫布上、瓷器上,盒子上…這些美好似乎是黃敏之于沉悶現(xiàn)實(shí)之外的一個(gè)缺口,一次呼吸,也可以視為一種“救贖”。

We all know that Huang Min focuses on "realism" in her main body paintings. She is extremely concerned about society and the living conditions of marginalized groups. But at the same time, she never ignored the "beauty" in life, always want to keep the short, fleeting beauty, so she has a series of "landscape" paintings. She painted them on cardboard, on canvas, on China, on boxes... These beauties seem to be a gap in Huang Min's dreary reality, and a breath can also be regarded as a kind of "redemption".
這個(gè)房間還帶有家庭記憶和時(shí)代記憶,黃敏出生于藝術(shù)世家,展覽中的舊家具出自上個(gè)世紀(jì)那個(gè)特殊的六、七十年代,上面的手繪畫作都出自同樣是畫家,1930年畢業(yè)于西南藝專的爺爺黃琨之手。這不是簡(jiǎn)單的傳承,而是時(shí)代與社會(huì)的變遷對(duì)每個(gè)人潛移默化的影響。
The room also carries memories of the family and The Times. Huang Min was born into an artistic family. The old furniture in the exhibition is from the special sixties and seventies of the last century, and the hand-painted paintings above are by her grandfather- Huang Kun, who was also a painter and graduated from Southwest Art College in 1930. This is not a simple inheritance, but the changes of The Times and society have a subtle impact on everyone.
如果這間“一個(gè)人的房間”有微風(fēng)而過,那么它就是穿越時(shí)空的一個(gè)房間:從家庭到社會(huì)到個(gè)體,從而建構(gòu)了藝術(shù)家黃敏她內(nèi)心多維、豐富而復(fù)雜的景觀世界”。

黃敏1975年生于四川通江,1998 年四川美術(shù)學(xué)院油畫系本科畢業(yè),獲學(xué)士學(xué)位 。2006年,中央美術(shù)學(xué)院油畫系三畫室研究生畢業(yè),獲碩士學(xué)位。現(xiàn)生活在北京。
1998年,獲四川美術(shù)學(xué)院本科畢業(yè)作品一等獎(jiǎng)。
1998年,獲全國(guó)群星展銅獎(jiǎng)。
2006年,獲中央美術(shù)學(xué)院研究生畢業(yè)作品一等獎(jiǎng)。
2006年,獲中央美術(shù)學(xué)院“王嘉廉油畫獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金
2016年,獲第三屆南京國(guó)際藝術(shù)展“學(xué)術(shù)獎(jiǎng)”和“大眾歡迎獎(jiǎng)”。
2015年,在德國(guó)的中國(guó)8當(dāng)代藝術(shù)大展中,被德國(guó)媒體評(píng)價(jià)為:“中國(guó)最令人驚喜的女性藝術(shù)家。”
策展人杜曦云曾寫道:“黃敏的繪畫中,既有對(duì)中國(guó)整體的思考,也有對(duì)某一具體地區(qū)的具體觀察。她的作品關(guān)注中國(guó)普通人的生存處境和欲望,題材會(huì)階段性的變化,但越來越自覺的從當(dāng)代公民權(quán)利的角度發(fā)現(xiàn)問題,用樸拙有力的具像手法表達(dá)。作品強(qiáng)烈有力量。形式語(yǔ)言和材料豐富多變。”
