北京時間12月10日，根據The Athletic的報道，一名利物浦球迷因為對伯恩茅斯球星塞門約進行種族歧視侮辱而遭到了起訴。
該報道指出，相關案件發生在今年8月16日本賽季英超首輪利物浦主場4-2戰勝伯恩茅斯的比賽中，當時一位名叫馬克-摩根的利物浦球迷對塞門約進行了種族歧視辱罵。
在身份被確定之后，現年47歲的馬克-摩根遭到了起訴，隨后他獲得了有條件保釋，并且將在12月22日在利物浦的地方法院出庭。
