北京時間1月5日，根據意大利名記羅馬諾的報道，坎塞洛的轉會問題正在進入關鍵時刻。
羅馬諾的報道重申了坎塞洛100%會離開利雅得新月的情況，他同時指出，國米已經告知利雅得新月方面，如果無法以租借的方式的得到坎塞洛，他們就不會放德弗賴或者阿切爾比加盟新月。
