美東時間1月11日晚，特朗普在社交平臺發帖，自稱“委內瑞拉代總統”。目前委內瑞拉方面對此暫無回應。
US President Donald Trump posted an image on the Social Truth platform on local time Sunday claiming himself as "Acting President of Venezuela". The post also comes with an official portrait of the US leader and then "Incumbent January 2026" for the designation.

而就在稍早前搭乘“空軍一號”返回華盛頓途中，特朗普還對隨行記者稱，“委內瑞拉的情況進展順利，我們與其領導層合作得很好，接下來如何發展我們將拭目以待。”在被記者問及“是否會與委內瑞拉代總統德爾西·羅德里格斯會面”時，特朗普還稱，“總有一天會與她會面，她表現得非常出色。”
Trump said Sunday his administration was working well with Venezuela's interim leader Delcy Rodriguez and that he would be open to meeting with her.
"Venezuela is really working out well. We're working along really well with the leadership," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.
Asked if he planned to meet with Rodriguez, Trump said: "At some point I'll be."
當地時間1月3日凌晨，美國悍然對委內瑞拉動武，強行控制委內瑞拉總統馬杜羅及其夫人并將其移送出境。1月5日，委內瑞拉副總統德爾西·羅德里格斯宣誓就任委內瑞拉代總統。
The US carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela on Jan 3 and forcibly seized Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife.
Delcy Rodriguez, previously vice-president of Venezuela, was sworn in on Jan 5 as the acting president of the country, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
