Perched on a gently sloping plot in St. Gallen, Switzerland, Haus A boasts unobstructed views of the city and Lake Constance. Designed by G?hler Flühler Fankhauser Architekten AG, the residence consists of two flat-roofed structures of varying heights, enclosing a patio-like outdoor space with floor-to-ceiling glazing. Blending seamlessly with its surroundings, the design draws inspiration from the 1960s "Kammelenberg" housing estate, reinterpreting minimalist architecture to prioritize both functionality and a profound connection to nature.

坐落于瑞士圣加侖一處緩坡地塊上，Haus A 坐擁城市與博登湖的開闊景致。由 G?hler Flühler Fankhauser Architekten AG 設(shè)計，這座住宅由兩座高度不同的平屋頂建筑構(gòu)成，以全景落地窗圍合出庭院般的戶外空間。設(shè)計與周邊環(huán)境完美相融，靈感源自 20 世紀 60 年代的 “卡姆梅倫貝格” 住宅區(qū)，重新詮釋極簡建筑風(fēng)格，既注重功能性，又強調(diào)與自然的深度聯(lián)結(jié)。

The house’s exterior is a masterclass in texture and durability, shaped by the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique. Exposed concrete bases, floor slabs, and roofs frame the flamed wooden facades, where controlled charring carbonizes the wood, lending it a distinctive black hue. Beyond aesthetics, this ancient method naturally preserves the material—making it weather- and insect-resistant—marrying time-honored craft with modern practicality. The dark wooden exterior stands in striking contrast to the light-filled interiors, creating a visual dialogue that anchors the home in its natural setting.

住宅外立面是材質(zhì)與耐用性的典范之作，采用日本燒杉板工藝打造。裸露的混凝土基座、樓板與屋頂勾勒出經(jīng)火焰處理的木質(zhì)外墻，通過可控炭化過程使木材碳化，呈現(xiàn)出獨特的黑色調(diào)。這一古老工藝不僅兼具美學(xué)價值，更能天然保護材質(zhì) —— 使其耐候、防蟲 —— 將傳統(tǒng)工藝與現(xiàn)代實用性完美結(jié)合。深色木質(zhì)外墻與采光充足的室內(nèi)形成鮮明對比，構(gòu)建出視覺對話，讓住宅深深扎根于自然環(huán)境之中。

The ground floor’s spacious living and dining area serves as the social heart of the home, connected to the outdoors via large sliding doors. These doors blur the boundary between interior and exterior, allowing natural light to flood the space and inviting the landscape to become an integral part of daily life. The minimalist aesthetic is elevated by high-quality craftsmanship: natural stone floors add warmth, while the continuity of materials creates a sense of calm and cohesion, turning every gathering into a sensory experience immersed in nature’s beauty.

一層開闊的客廳與餐廳是住宅的社交核心，通過大型滑動門與戶外相連。這些門模糊了室內(nèi)外的界限，讓自然光灑滿空間，使周邊景致成為日常生活的有機組成部分。極簡美學(xué)通過高品質(zhì)工藝得以升華：天然石材地面增添暖意，而材質(zhì)的連貫性營造出寧靜和諧的氛圍，讓每一次相聚都成為沉浸于自然之美的感官體驗。

Functionality is thoughtfully integrated into every corner of Haus A. The two-story main building houses living and sleeping areas, while the single-story annex accommodates a fitness and wellness space, utility rooms, and garages—separating public and private zones without compromising flow. Throughout both structures, striking floor-to-ceiling oak built-in units provide ample storage while enhancing the minimalist aesthetic. These custom elements are tailored to the family’s lifestyle, ensuring the home is not just visually appealing but also deeply practical and comfortable.

功能性被精心融入 Haus A 的每個角落。兩層高的主樓包含起居與睡眠區(qū)域，而單層附屬建筑則設(shè)有健身養(yǎng)生空間、雜物間與車庫 —— 在區(qū)分公共與私人區(qū)域的同時，不破壞空間的流暢性。兩座建筑內(nèi)部均配備醒目的全景橡木嵌入式柜體，既提供充足收納，又強化了極簡美學(xué)。這些定制元素貼合家庭生活方式，讓住宅不僅視覺美觀，更兼具極強的實用性與舒適度。
