St Kilda Loft, crafted by mlk design studio, embraces the generous scale and openness inherent to loft architecture, while weaving the local context, spatial volume, and the owners’ personal expression into every detail. The design preserves the home’s soaring ceiling height, forging unbroken connections with the streetscape and the dense canopy of trees above. It captures a contemporary spirit that harmonizes life with natural elements, turning the loft into a sanctuary where urban energy and organic serenity coexist in perfect balance.

由 mlk 設計工作室打造的圣基爾達閣樓（St Kilda Loft），充分彰顯了閣樓建筑特有的開闊尺度與通透感，同時將地域環境、空間體量與業主的個人表達融入每一處細節。設計保留了住宅高挑的層高，與街景及上方茂密的樹冠建立起無縫聯結。它捕捉到兼具現代感的精神內核，讓生活與自然元素相融共生，將閣樓轉變為一處都市活力與自然靜謐完美平衡的庇護所。

Inspired by the iconic loft lifestyle of Manhattan, the design blends the existing space’s warmth and familiarity with subtle masculine touches and nuanced details. Bronze-toned leather, varied wood species, and large, uninterrupted glass panels define the interiors, erasing the boundary between indoor and outdoor areas. Since exterior space is limited, these materials and design choices serve as striking counterpoints, infusing the loft with texture and depth that compensate for the lack of a sprawling outdoor area.

設計從曼哈頓標志性的閣樓生活方式中汲取靈感，將既有空間的溫暖親切感與含蓄的男性化格調、精致細節相融合。青銅色調的皮革、多樣的木材種類以及大面積無遮擋的玻璃面板構成了室內的核心元素，消弭了室內外的界限。由于戶外空間有限，這些材質與設計選擇成為鮮明的互補，為閣樓注入豐富質感與層次，彌補了缺乏開闊戶外區域的不足。

Natural stone, metal, and wood—high-quality materials chosen for their longevity—are featured throughout the home, becoming intentional highlights of the finishes. These tactile elements bring a sense of durability and timelessness, ensuring the loft ages gracefully with the owners. The combination of rough-hewn stone, sleek metal accents, and warm wood creates a sensory tapestry that appeals to touch and sight, fostering an atmosphere of understated luxury that feels both refined and lived-in.

The layout maximizes the loft’s inherent openness, while strategic design elements create subtle zones for living, working, and relaxing without compromising the sense of spaciousness. Statement pieces like the Skye Bath freestanding bathtub by Claybrook Interiors and the Valley Sofa by Jardan add personality and comfort, aligning with the owners’ lifestyle needs. String lights by Flos and the Zip HydroTap? by CLAGE GmbH blend functionality with aesthetic appeal, elevating everyday moments into small luxuries.

布局設計充分發揮了閣樓固有的開闊優勢，同時通過巧妙的設計元素劃分出含蓄的起居、工作與休憩區域，且不破壞整體的寬敞感。克萊布魯克室內設計的斯凱獨立浴缸（Skye Bath）、雅丹品牌的瓦利沙發（Valley Sofa）等特色單品既增添了個性，又保障了舒適度，精準契合業主的生活需求。弗洛斯品牌的串燈（Flos）與克拉克公司的齊普即熱式水龍頭（Zip HydroTap?）將功能性與美學價值融為一體，讓日常瞬間升級為微小的奢享體驗。
