北京時間2月25日，據(jù)知名記者Marc Stein報道，薩克拉門托國王是否在休賽期繼續(xù)留下薩博尼斯，可能取決于他們在今夏的選秀大會上的選擇結(jié)果。
在本賽季交易截止日前，薩博尼斯一直是交易流言中的熱門人物，華盛頓奇才和多倫多猛龍都曾表達出興趣。
薩博尼斯本賽季僅為國王出戰(zhàn)19場比賽，便因半月板撕裂賽季報銷，場均貢獻15.8分11.4個籃板和4.1次助攻。
國王目前以13勝46負的戰(zhàn)績排名西部倒數(shù)第一。
