12月7日，香港特區第八屆立法會選舉正式舉行，這是香港特區在完善選舉制度、落實“愛國者治港”原則后舉行的又一次重要立法會選舉。7時30分起，全港投票站開放，投票將持續至23時30分，計劃于12月8日清晨公布初步結果。
本次選舉將選出90名議員，其中選舉委員會界別40席、功能界別30席、地區直選20席。當選者任期將從2026年1月1日開始，為期四年。
