Chongqing's Nan'an District Market Supervision Administration issued a notice on Tuesday regarding a viral social media incident involving a roasted whole sheep restaurant.

通報稱,近日,網傳“在大草原烤全羊店就餐時,36斤活羊烤制完成后重6.9斤”一事,引發社會關注。對此,重慶市南岸區市場監督管理局高度重視,成立調查組,通過與消費者溝通、詢問商家負責人及員工、調取商家進貨臺賬及交易記錄、查看現場視頻、委托法定檢定機構檢查計量器具等方式進行核查。現將相關情況通報如下:
消費者通過美團平臺購買“大草原烤全羊南濱路鐘樓店”(系個體工商戶,營業執照名稱為“南岸區業態餐飲店”)烤全羊套餐后,于2026年2月16日11:01到店選羊,并現場監督活羊的稱重(活羊重量為36斤)和宰殺,并對羊腿、羊尾分別做了標記。當天19:00左右,消費者到店后對之前相關標記進行了確認,但對烤制后的成品羊提出異議,認為“體積過小”,并經現場稱重,實際重量為6.9斤(不含羊頭、羊血、羊蹄、羊皮、羊內臟等)。經調查,該商家從購進活羊到宰殺前,曾非正常持續給羊投喂玉米、干草等飼料和水,以達到虛增活羊重量的目的。
A consumer, surnamed Wang, purchased a set meal via the Meituan platform at the "Grassland Roasted Whole Sheep Nanbin Road Zhonglou Branch" (a sole proprietorship registered as "Nan'an District Format Catering Shop").
According to the investigation, on Feb 16, 2026, at 11:01 am, the consumer selected a live sheep at the restaurant, witnessed its weighing (recorded at 36
jin, or 18 kg), and its slaughter. The consumer also marked the sheep's legs and tail for identification.
At around 7:00 pm that day, the consumer confirmed the marks but disputed the size of the cooked sheep, finding it "too small". An on-site weighing showed the finished product weighed only 6.9
jin(approximately 3.45 kg), excluding the head, blood, hooves, skin, and internal organs.
The investigation revealed the business engaged in "abnormally continuous" feeding of corn, hay, and water to the live sheep before slaughter, with the deliberate aim of artificially increasing its weight.
該店涉嫌違反《中華人民共和國消費者權益保護法》有關規定,重慶市南岸區市場監督管理局已責令其停止違法行為、按照“退一賠三”賠付消費者費用,并根據后續調查情況依法依規嚴肅處理,堅決維護誠信經營市場秩序,切實保護消費者合法權益。
The restaurant's actions are suspected of violating the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the People's Republic of China. The Nan'an District Market Supervision Administration has ordered the business to cease its illegal activities and compensate the consumer according to the "refund and triple compensation" rule. Further strict action will be taken based on subsequent investigation results.
據荔枝新聞,重慶的王女士反映,除夕夜帶著家人在大草原烤全羊重慶南濱路店購買了1188元套餐,到店后稱重活羊為36斤,結果烤完端上來后王女士覺得有些不太對。“羊特別小還很薄,幾乎沒有肉。”

隨后王女士要求商家稱重,商家向她解釋,羊肉烤完后只剩下四成,拒絕復稱。
According to earlier reports, Wang, a Chongqing resident, had purchased an 1,188 yuan set meal. After the 36-
jinlive sheep was roasted, she noted it appeared "particularly small and thin, with almost no meat". The restaurant initially refused her request to re-weigh the cooked sheep, explaining that weight loss after slaughter and roasting was normal.
王女士選擇報警,警方到現場后,商家復稱了羊肉,顯示只有6.9斤。
王女士說,商家這時又向她解釋,殺完羊去了內臟重量只剩四成,燒烤后羊肉重量還會有損失。
記者隨后向涉事門店核實,工作人員向記者解釋,活羊稱重宰殺,都是經過消費者確認的,同時對羊腿還做了標記。

至于重量相差為何這么大,商家表示,活羊存在個體差異,喜好也不同,烤出來的樣子都不一樣。另外,王女士這只羊,烤得比較干,重量流失也相對較多。
