當?shù)貢r間1月31日，2026年澳網(wǎng)女單決賽中，萊巴金娜以總比分2-1戰(zhàn)勝薩巴倫卡，收獲職業(yè)生涯第二座大滿貫女單冠軍獎杯。
薩巴倫卡為本次澳網(wǎng)一號種子，手握兩屆澳網(wǎng)女單冠軍（2023年、2024年）與兩屆美網(wǎng)女單冠軍（2024年、2025年），已經(jīng)連續(xù)4年在澳網(wǎng)闖入決賽。萊巴金娜為五號種子，她曾獲得一屆溫網(wǎng)冠軍（2022）。雙方上次交手是在去年WTA年終總決賽的決賽，當時萊巴金娜2-0贏下勝利。
