北京時間2月12日，官方消息，美因茨與33歲韓國國腳李在城續約。
美因茨官方消息，球員李在城已經與俱樂部續約，球員本賽季結束后仍會效力于球隊。
自加盟美因茨以來，李在城至今已代表球隊出戰159場正式比賽，貢獻28粒進球和24次助攻。
李在城表示：“非常開心與美因茨完成續約。能繼續身披這件球衣讓我倍感自豪，在這里我感到舒適，競技狀態與個人發展都得到了很好的保障。”
