當地時間2月12日，非盟和平與安全理事會（和安會）發表公報，強烈反對以色列單方面承認所謂的“索馬里蘭共和國”，稱其是對索馬里主權的冒犯，呼吁“立即撤銷這一承認”。
索馬里蘭地區位于索馬里北部，20世紀90年代自行宣布脫離索馬里“獨立”，但未得到國際社會承認。以色列于2025年12月26日正式承認索馬里蘭為“獨立主權國家”并簽署協議“建立外交關系”，遭到多國譴責。（總臺記者 李曄）
