12月1日，新版《中華人民共和國政府和俄羅斯聯邦政府關于促進和相互保護投資的協定》正式生效實施。
中俄兩國政府于2006年簽署雙邊投資協定，為給中俄兩國投資者及其投資營造更加穩定、公平、透明、可預期的營商環境，雙方于2022年啟動雙邊投資協定升級談判，并于2025年5月8日簽署新版雙邊投資協定。
