庫珀打破了此前由斯科特·雅各比（ Scott Jacoby ）保持的紀錄，后者在1973年憑借《那年夏天》獲得艾美獎時，年僅16歲。羅克珊娜·扎爾（ Roxana Zal ）至今仍是史上最年輕的艾美獎得主，1984年，她憑借《關于阿米莉亞的事》獲得艾美獎時年僅14歲。
