Shams表示：“雷霆隊后衛謝伊-吉爾杰斯-亞歷山大腹部拉傷，將在全明星賽后接受重新評估。”
他的全明星首發位置將由他人取代，具體人選由蕭華直接選出。
本賽季亞歷山大場均可以砍下31.8分4.4籃板6.4助攻，三項命中率高達55.4%、39%、89.2%，雷霆目前也排在西部第一位。
